Sailing area the Krabbenkreek

The Krabbenkreek is not widely known but certainly worth a visit. It is an estuary of the Mastgat, which connects the Volkerak and the Oosterschelde. It is an excellent spot for nature lovers. The tide and the tidal flats give the impression of sailing in a foreign country. You can moor your boat to a buoy and, in all tranquillity, experience the tidal range and the drying of the banks. Those seeking rest and relaxation will surely enjoy their stay here. Do keep in mind that the buoys at the St. Annaland are extremely popular during high season and you may be forced to lay anchor instead. You can also dock at the St. Annaland harbour and explore a charming Zeeuwse village. If you sail a little further along the tidal flats, you will reach the St. Philipsland quay, a peaceful spot that is certainly worth a visit. It is often much easier to find a place to dock here.
